These terms apply when you use renoquo.ca. By submitting a request or using the site, you agree to them. They're written in plain language; if anything is unclear, email service@renoquo.ca.

1. What Renoquo is

Renoquo is a referral service operated by Johannes Anhalt in Mississauga, Ontario. We connect homeowners with independent, vetted contractors we call RenoPros. Renoquo does not perform renovation or repair work, does not employ the RenoPros, and does not collect payment for the work.

2. Free for homeowners

Using Renoquo costs you nothing, and you're never obliged to accept a quote. RenoPros pay Renoquo a referral fee for completed jobs. That fee is never charged to you as a separate fee.

3. Quotes and your agreement with the RenoPro

Quotes are prepared and issued by your RenoPro, who is named on the quote with their business details. If you accept a quote, your agreement for the work is directly between you and the RenoPro. Scheduling, payment, permits, warranties and the quality of the work are the RenoPro's responsibility. Please read every quote carefully and ask questions before accepting. Ontario's consumer protection rules apply to your agreement with the contractor.

4. How we vet RenoPros

We only work with contractors we know personally and whose work we have seen, and we check their WSIB coverage, liability insurance and trade licences where required. Vetting reduces risk but can't guarantee the outcome of any job.

5. Your part

Please give accurate information about your project and only upload photos and files you have the right to share. Keep the private links in your emails to yourself, since anyone with a link can view that project page.

6. If something goes wrong

Tell us at service@renoquo.ca. Johannes will follow up personally and work with you and your RenoPro toward a fair solution. Because Renoquo isn't a party to your agreement with the contractor, we can't be responsible for the contractor's work, but we take every concern seriously and it affects who we keep working with.

7. Limits

To the extent the law allows, Renoquo is not liable for the work, products, delays or conduct of any RenoPro, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
